Most aerials in our county point towards the Sandy Heath transmitter. Our old analogue TV channels (BBC1, 2, ITV & C4) were broadcast on frequencies (channels) 21 to 31. To Give the best reception possible aerials were fitted to give maximum gain from these frequencies only.

Some of our digital TV is broadcast on these frequencies and some on higher frequencies.

Whether you need a new aerial to recieve digital TV will depend on the condition of your aerial and how many channels you would like to recieve

• Old Group A aerial to receive around 15 digital TV channels
• a Wideband aerial to receive more than 40 digital TV channels
