Different Aerials Explained

Below is a brief description of the main 3 aerials that we fit. Though there are many different makes of aerials we tend to fit only aerials made by the UK's largest manufacturer Vision. All of the below aerials are of a robust design with solid cross rods. Many cheap aerials are made from pressed aluminium which tends to move and break in higher winds.

Log Periodic - Good all round digital aerial. Discrete, low wind bearing. Good to amplify as it gives a flat gain across all the TV frequencies

48 Element - Good for weak signal aeras. solid rods robust design. Larger than a Log periodic though

76 Element - Good for very weak signal aeras. solid rods robust design. Heavy and large though
